Like Topsy, it grew and grew. There’s something quintissentially British about “The Dorset Knob Throwing and Frome Valley Food Festival”. It’s fun, zany and has become more and more and more popular. Last year over 6,000 arrived which fully stretched the capacity of the field opposite Fullers Earth. This year on Sunday 30th April, the 10th anniversary of DKT, it is moving to the grounds of Kingston Maurward Agricultural College just outside Dorchester. It’s still a Cattistock event – after all it was conceived and developed here and all proceeds go to the village. It will still have crazy games – it’s amazing how many games you can do with a Dorset Knob! And it will still be a cracking good day out with room for all.
